Most stores plan in spring, prepare over summer and stop taking meetings once the holiday peak starts. Pitch new tools before the peak, not during it. A rough guide for northern-hemisphere retail.

What you get for each store
The same eleven columns as every file we sell. Company size helps you separate a single shop from a chain. The domain tells you where the store sells online.

Two different lists, with different rules
this page
Retail businesses
The people who run and buy for stores. You are selling to the business. In the US this works under CAN-SPAM; in the EU and UK it usually rests on legitimate interest.
separate list
Consumer shoppers
Individual buyers, held apart from business records and never mixed into a B2B file. Consent rules for emailing consumers are much stricter in most markets. Check yours before you send.

About retail and ecommerce lists
How many retail contacts do you have?
Retail is not a standard class in our index, so we do not publish one number. We filter it per country and category and send you the exact count before you pay.
Is this a list of shoppers?
No. This is people who run and buy for retail businesses. Consumer lists are separate and have stricter rules.
What if a lot of emails bounce?
If hard bounces pass 5% within 7 days, we replace the file or refund you.
Can I target only online stores?
Yes. Ask for online-only stores, or shops that also sell online. We use the company domain and description to split them.
How much does it cost?
$99 per file, once. No subscription and no renewal.
When is the best time to email retailers?
Spring and late summer. Most stores stop taking new meetings once the holiday peak begins.
Can I filter by ecommerce platform?
Ask us. Platform filters such as Shopify or WooCommerce depend on the market, so we confirm what is possible with your count.
How fresh is the data?
Checked monthly on the 9th, 11th or 13th, and again the day your file ships. Each row carries its date.
- check it first
Tell us the stores. We send the count and 100 rows.
Country, category, role and size. If the cut is too thin to be worth $99, we will say so.
